Dr. Mitchell Westberg is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a passion for helping children build lifelong healthy habits through fun, positive dental experiences. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry and completed his pediatric dental residency at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, where he also served as chief resident. Before relocating to Bellingham, Dr. Mitch practiced in his hometown of Albany, Oregon, where he developed a strong foundation in relationship-based, child-focused care.

Dr. Mitch’s approach to dentistry centers on building trust with his patients and their families. He believes that by creating a safe, welcoming, and even fun dental environment, children can grow up without fear of the dentist—and even look forward to their visits. Inspired by his own joyful experiences at the pediatric dentist growing up, he strives to offer the same kind of supportive, educational care that empowers kids and reassures parents. Whether it’s a child proudly finishing a visit or a parent learning something new to support their child’s oral health, these everyday moments are what he finds most fulfilling.

Outside of the office, you may find Dr. Mitch spending time with his wife and daughter, riding bikes, cooking or baking, building and crafting things, or relaxing with good music. Now proud to call Bellingham home, Dr. Mitch feels honored to serve the families of Whatcom County. He values the strong sense of community here and is committed to contributing to it by providing compassionate, expert care to every child who walks through his doors. He considers it a privilege to live, work, and raise a family in such a vibrant and welcoming place.

Having been a dental assistant for over 20 years, Stephanie has found her true passion in providing oral health care to children, helping them feel safe, confident, and cared-for during each visit. Working with children brings her so much joy every single day!

When not working at our office, you can find Stephanie enjoying quality time with her family. She loves proudly supporting her daughter cheerleading at sporting events and her son at his baseball and basketball games. Her heart overflows with love for her family, friends, career, and the many blessings that make her world so meaningful!

Emma first recognized her passion for pediatric dentistry several years ago when she was given the opportunity to provide an oral health presentation at a preschool her friend was a teacher at. She absolutely loves working with our patients (especially the really young ones!) to create a positive impression of the dentist and help them grow their confidence each and every visit.

In her free time Emma enjoys painting with acrylics, getting absorbed in a book, and spending time with her friends and roommates.

As both a dental assistant and the office manager, Jacky always does what she can to help things run smoothly at our office. She loves working with children because they bring so much energy and personality to each appointment. For her, being able to help make dental visits fun and positive for them is the best part of her job.

As a Bellingham native, Jacky has so much passion for our local community. Outside of work, she loves exploring nearby trails, hanging out with friends, and trying out new coffee shops (recommendations are always welcome!).
